APRIL STRAUGHN

Owner/Director of Sapphire-Studio

April has had a love of dance for over 25 years. Dancing started in her early childhood, with a variety of styles. Winning numerous awards with NC State Fair, ACHF & CCA clogging sanctioned events. She has a passion not only for dance but for fitness as well. Training clients and teaching fitness classes since 2015, she believes success starts within. As a NASM certified personal trainer, she takes pride in giving her clients the tools to create a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.

ALYSSA HUTCHERSON

Alyssa began dance training at the age of 3.   Training in  ballet, pointe, tap, contemporary, modern, jazz and acro.  Alyssa also trained in gymnastics as well as cheered on 2 different all-star teams, middle and high school cheer squad.  Competing in many competitions through the years in dance, gymnastics and cheerleading.  Alyssa has also studied under several Master instructors including Christopher Robbins, Dusty Button, Keltie Knight, Rockette Trina Simon and Benji Schwimmer.  Her first love is dance and enjoys sharing her love of dance with children.

MEGAN BLAKE

Megan feels like she was born dancing.  Her mother was a dancer and it's just in her spirit.  A classically trained ballet dancer - Megan won the title Miss Georgia for The Miss America Program as a tap dancer.  Her love for Yoga dates 20+ years.  For Megan, Ballet and Yoga are foundations to energize the body and mind. She says they increase her “Happy Chemicals!”  Teaching from Coast to Coast including Los Angeles and Atlanta, she loves to help people attain fitness goals, boost confidence and shine their own inner light through these arts.

BONNIE SMITH

Bonnie completed her RYT 200 with Renee Canzoneri, The live in discovery program a Baptist inspired training and hopes to complete her RYT 500 in 2019. She originally came to yoga looking for a good whole body stretch after spending a lot of time in the gym. What she found through yoga was an immense sense of community and the tools to calm her mind and begin to accept herself just as she is. She lives in Liberty and is passionate about bringing yoga to the area, yoga for Every Body and giving back with her free to everyone class every Wednesday. Beginners to experienced are welcome. This class is a great place to start a yoga journey. Begin to be present with your breath and body and bring ease to your whole being. Tension will release and you will leave feeling refreshed and relaxed.
